Join us on November 20th, 2026, for National Child Day as we come together to celebrate children’s rights and inspire children and youth across Canada to help create a brighter future!

This year’s theme, Growing Up Digital: Protecting Children’s Rights in a Digital World, highlights the importance of ensuring that every child can grow up safe and supported, both online and offline. As technology continues to shape how children learn and connect with the world around them, it is more important than ever to protect their rights and ensure their voices are heard. Together, we can help create a digital world where children can explore new opportunities while feeling safe and empowered.

National Child Day is part of the global World Children’s Day movement, recognizing our shared commitment to upholding the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Each year, nearly 40,000 students from over 300 schools participate in the celebrations, and this year, we hope to reach even more!

Register your classroom, school, or organization to join the celebrations and explore our Activity Guide, filled with fun and educational ways to learn about children’s rights.

Let’s come together to celebrate children’s rights and build a future where every child can thrive, both online and offline!
